We are a progressive, friendly, company currently employing around 75 people with the ability to carry out most schemes, especially the types that are particularly technical and the majority of similar business don't or won't carry out. We have the experience in the management staff and the workforce to plan, manage and carry out these technically challenging projects. We also carry out all our schemes to a high standard which ensures our clients recommend us to others and call upon our services for future projects.
Our fleet maintenance is too a very high standard and our plant is regularly renewed so we keep up with technological advances and modern safety devices on all our equipment.
Our History
The company was started in 1977 by Mr. Gerrald Harries, with one lorry, then a JCB wheeled excavator, steadily growing with further lorries and wheeled excavators. There has been a number of key points in the progression of the business, which are the acquisition of the first tarmac paving machine and gang, All three children joining the family business adding to the already stable core, and allowing further progression by increasing the plant and labour resources, also diversifying into varied contract work. More recently the grandchildren are gettining involved in the family business and we maintain a steady growing pattern.
